Rangaraja Nambi,a Vaisist worships Lord Vishnu.Kulothunga CholanII(Napolean) wants him to punish for worshiping Vishnu.He also says that he will be forgivven if he worships Lord siva and says Om NamaSivaye.Nambi does’nt hear to his words and does the opposite.Finally Nambi was tied with the idol and thrown away to the sea.Kothai(asin) also dies. 

Next is Govind(scientist) finds by testing that the virus he found may cause the biowar and he evntually sees a monkey dies of eating it.But his superior wants to sell it for big amount.Then there begins a chase between Fletcher and Govind and how Govind prevents the substance from him forms the rest of the story.

The other characters Avatar Singh(Pop Singer),Boovaragavan(Dalid leader),George Bush,Kung-Fu master,Kallifulla Khan,Balram Naidu,Krishnaveni Patti give their support to certain extent.

Basically the film fails to impress due to poor screenplay.dialogues by Govind till the first half of the film is not impressive.The other characters also fail to perform except for Avatar Singh and Kallifulla Khan.Himesh Reshmiyya Scores good in BGM.KallaiMattumKandal,UllagaNayagane,OhOhSanam are quite enjoyable.

The only factor where the film is nearing sivaji and Billa is in cinematography and in technology aspects.Ravivarman handled the Camera.The pictuarisation of Tsunami was quite brilliant.Overall the film is watchable once for the astonishing performance of KamalHaasan.If K.S.Ravikumar have believed the script till what extent he believed KamalHaasn the film might be a another blockbuster like Padayappa and Varalaru
